Formulation

CLUTCH is a deliberately small formula. Seven active ingredients, dosed at amounts supported by published research, with the reasoning for every inclusion and every exclusion stated openly.

Most nootropic products hide their formulations behind proprietary blends. The label lists a total weight but not the amount of each ingredient, so you cannot check the dosing against the research.

CLUTCH doesn’t use proprietary blends. Everything is on the label, and everything is on this page.

Three things the formula does

Sustained energy without stimulants
N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine and a full B-vitamin complex support cellular energy metabolism and contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. No caffeine, so no jitters and no crash.
Focus and mental clarity
Alpha-GPC and Citicoline supply choline, which the body uses to produce acetylcholine — the neurotransmitter involved in attention and muscle contraction. Huperzia serrata extract supports acetylcholine levels for longer.
A composed state of mind
L-Theanine is associated with alpha wave activity in the brain, linked to a state of relaxed alertness. Sceletium tortuosum — indigenous to southern Africa, used here for centuries — supports a calm and balanced state.

What we left out, and why

No caffeine.

Clutch is formulated for sports where fine motor control matters, and caffeine wasn’t the right fit for that. It also means you can take Clutch alongside your normal coffee, or before an evening session, without it affecting your sleep.

No creatine.

It works — at 3 to 5 grams. That’s ten capsules on its own. Take it separately.

No proprietary blends.

If a label won’t tell you how much of something is in it, you can’t check it against the research.

Note: the physiological tremor argument against caffeine was deliberately removed from this draft. It is a comparative claim against an entire product category and needs a substantiation file before publication. The version above states the formulation decision without making a claim about competitors.
